broken arm?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this?
I had a complete break in my ulna last friday…went in for surgery on Sunday to have a plate put in. Doctor says six weeks till I can resume my activities(running, biking and swimming.)
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation …
