Well today was pretty productive for outdoors activity despite the weather advisory on heat. I took half the day off from work, because I had to use a few hours of vacation before tomorrow (new fiscal year) or I lost them. So I took advantage of the “vacation.” I went and did my chest and back lifting, showered, and got a haircut then.

Came home, and took out on my 3 mile run despite the heat. Whoa was it hot! 3 miles in just under 30 minutes. Not great, but not good. I did the first 1.5 without stopping, and then on the way back I walked probably about .2-.3 of the way. I seriously think my calf may be getting injured. Came home, ate my lunch and let it digest and then went on my 13 mile bike ride outside. I definitely did better today somehow. I came in with a 50 minute time, which again isn’t great but decent for the heat and my equipment. I’m really not that spent, well not yet anyhow. I’m not doing anymore today though, that’s for sure.

I need to look into some good shoes, before I seriously injure my calf. Tomorrow, I think I will take off from any kind of leg workout. It was suppose to be my 2nd leg workout of the week, but if I do any of it it will just be quad and glute workout, no calve exercises. That also means no biking and no running tomorrow, so I will get in at least 1,000 meters of pool work and if I don’t think I’ll drown…I may shoot for 2,000 meters.

Update on Cadiz and back, well that puts me at almost 49 miles on the week. Another 11 and I would be back in Murray, but I think I will come up short this week unless I run or bike on Saturday..depending on the legs!

Bet I got a good tan today!

P.S. Randolph have you decided on your weekend plans? Kyle and I will probably hang out in Cadiz and may hit arrowhead or the lake on like Sunday or Monday.
